Riding with some new pro's today and one guy had the lower pulley bolt shear off and the pulley fell off. Was a real pain to get out. Anyone else see something like this?

Hit it hard if you don't clear the obstacles.
Grind or hacksaw a slot on what's left, with a heavy hammer and punch whack it hard once, then turn out. That's what the Twoski's Doo-When things get too steep for their pay grade.

Mine did that to just got it back from the dealer. Bolt that retains the lower pulley snapped off and the lower pulley walked off. When it came off it hit the top pulley and put a dent in it. I went over the handle bars and kissed the Polaris emblem on the hood. Fixed under warranty.
Was there room for it to come off with a battery there? Did it damage the batter cover?
There is just enough room for it to back off then tear the splines out of the pulley. We could get it on for a couple hills but the down hils were tough with no brakes! Should have bought a Doo I guess!
