If/when you carry a spare QuickDrive belt with you... do not kink it.. try to transport it in a careful way and do not place it next to the exhaust or in an oily location.

Just a thought. What about a bracket on the rear part of the tunnel? The belt weighs nothing so shouldn't be an issue, it's a wide open space with plenty of room to properly shape the belt and not much else goes back there on my sled.
I realize there are other issues that can arise storing it back here but it may be about the only spot.
In all honesty Polaris shod be the ones providing a storage location
I can't believe that polaris hadn't tried storing these belts on their sleds....I mean, did they think a bunch of outdoors/gear head type guys WEREN'T going to try and bring spares with them while riding? I guess there's always room for improvement. They'll make a cheap "storage bracket" or something along those lines...them or the aftermarket.
i know this is the hot topic at the moment b/c everyone is freaking out over their new drive belts breaking every five minutes, but honestly, why would polaris expect everyone to carry a spare belt? i've never carried a spare chain with me. nor do i know anyone that carries a spare chain. i'm sorry, i just don't see the difference. only time will tell if this is a real concern or simply pre/early season hype and paranoia.
