my heart just sunk. This must be very agrivating for the owner. I hope he is insured but the fact there is a reward sure makes it sounds like he isn't.

I had a sled stolen a couple of years ago. It would have been impossible for the police to act less interested than they did. I think that made me agrier than the fact the sleds were stolen.

such effin BULL****!!!
my sled got stolen last monday too! i live just 2 hours from you in FSJ. i was the luckiest bastard on the earth tho. i got it back. the thieves drove across my neighbors front yard in a foot+ of snow backed up to the side of my truck and picked it out of the box...lifted the thing OVER the box rails!!! i had my truck backed up to the house...you know....just incase...!!! fisrt night the sled was EVER outside over night. i loaded it the night before as to not wake the neighbors in the morning. i was to be heading to GP for some warranty work. couldnt believe the effin gall!!! in a new subdivision, under street lights, and over the neighbors lawn! neighbor saw them, called police, they put it out over radio, local security company guy doing rounds heres the description over his scanner, he is BEHIND the truck that has my sled, follows them home, waits for police. RCMP said 2% of all stolen snowmobiles and atv's come back in one piece. good luck man!

i will keep a GOOD EFFIN eye out around here.....makes me fawkin sick to my stomach! the guys that stole my sled got NOTHING!! cant find the one. and the guy who lived at the house is saying his "roomate" did it....i am tring to find out who...i will tho.....
good luck again bro!

here's a pic of my truck and the thieves tracks....you can see my truck up against the house...

I still dont understand when sled theft is high why cant the cops or even the local snowmobile association set up a few random sting operations. That would spread the word pretty quick IMO.

Hope all works out, that last post was pretty ballzie for the thieves. They are begging to be caught.

Koby, hopefully this is all found and the thieves are caught quick before it gets out of hand again. This happened about 2 seasons ago in Valemount and McBride. I'll sticky your post on s&m for you.

If they're anything like the RCMP here, they're too busy trying to hand out impaireds to some poor sap that had a few beer after work.

I had an enclosed trailer stolen a number of years ago, and the RCMP could have cared less.

Sorry to here it, again. Thievery seems to be a real big problem in Canada. It's one of the reasons I haven't been going up there for the last several years. From a thief's perspective if only 2% are recovered that means you have a 98% success rate. That's not much of a deterrent. The RC MP's need to step that up a bit or the problem will just get worse.

I am coming down to GP this winter because my riding buddy and dad live there so i will make sure we all keep an eye out. i had my dirt bike stolen from the north gate Honda their, the theft in gp is getting out of hand from he sounds of it. from the looks of the photo you live just by the aspen grove school and such my friend and i live not more then 2 minutes away from there and we both know how much it sucks to get ripped off as do many others who live in gp. The best of luck in finding the dirtbags and your property, stay vigalint.

and yes the rcmp are very little help in situations such as these, when my bike got ripped off from the honda dealership there, their lot wasent even insured so we were held liable and we werent insured either. your best bet is to check all the local classifieds and post about it on as many sights as you can, including posting the reward on the classifieds.

That's the problem, cops are busy trying to do anything to collect easy cash, seatbelt stings, a few beer too many...but when it comes to playing cop and work for a change, they're the biggest losers on the street, snot nosed little man-syndrome cowards.A few good ones, but in general, they recruit anyone now who got beat up as a kid all the time.
Would love to catch the p#%cks who got your trailer.....call the cops last when you find them! Good luck man.

Good luck finding your sleds. Tundrat, very lucky...well actually stupid criminals. It never ceases to amaze me how big criminals nutz are but how small there brains are. I CAN'T STAND thieves! They are my most hated criminal. Well them and of course rapists and murderers. I'm all the way down in CO. but i'll send you some positive vibes.
