if this is the cat convert kit I think you need relocation brackets for the 05-06 to make it work.

FOMOCO, if the comment was aimed at me, yup got the brackets but thanks for making sure I had my head on straight!. I'm wondering if this is the Cat kit myself.
 
yes, this is the Cat kit part # 4639-994. New kits in the box.
Yes I also have some front arms used laying around, and just like was said, for the 05-06 M's you need the relocation bracket for the front arm, not needed on the 07.

was more just heading off problems for the 05-06 owners.
