Science czar appointee is a lunatic

Obama is batting 1000:

Obama's Biggest Radical By: Ben Johnson

"When Barack Obama nominated John P. Holdren as his Science Adviser last December 20, the president-elect stated "promoting science isn’t just about providing resources" but "ensuring that facts and evidence are never twisted or obscured by politics or ideology." In nominating John Holdren, his words could scarcely have taken a more Orwellian ring.

Some critics have noted Holdren's penchant for making apocalyptic predictions that never come to pass, and categorizing all criticism of his alarmist views as not only wrong but dangerous. What none has yet noted is that Holdren is a globalist who has endorsed "surrender of sovereignty" to "a comprehensive Planetary Regime" that would control all the world's resources, direct global redistribution of wealth, oversee the "de-development" of the West, control a World Army and taxation regime, and enforce world population limits. He has castigated the United States as "the meanest of wealthy countries," written a justification of compulsory abortion for American women, advocated drastically lowering the U.S. standard of living, and left the door open to trying global warming "deniers" for crimes against humanity. Such is Barack Obama's idea of a clear-headed adviser on matters of scientific policy....

Speaking of czars. The "car czar" abruptly quit today, but his replacement will apparently have the same problems.
=========
"Auto Industry Task Force chair Steven Rattner has abruptly quit this afternoon. Also known as the “car czar,” Rattner’s appointment got roundly criticized because of his lack of experience in the auto industry. His replacement will have the same problem:

Steven Rattner, head of the Obama administration’s auto task force, is leaving that post and will be replaced by former steelworkers official Ron Bloom.

The administration said Monday that Rattner decided to return to private life and his family in New York City.

Rattner won praise for the job he did managing the massive restructuring of General Motors and Chrysler. But his government service came under a cloud with an investigation of an influence peddling scandal back in New York.

Authorities have said that Rattner, an investment banker, was unlikely to face charges in the investigation which involved a giant state pension fund that provides retirement benefits for more than 1 million government employees.

I’m not aware that “authorities” have made a statement that he would not get charged in the corruption probe. A Google search on “rattner face charges” turns up a number of hits with the same formulation that the AP uses here, but none with specific references to a public statement. Mickey Kaus is the only one to specify that such a statement came from the White House, and that was to defend itself on the Rattner appointment after word broke of his involvement in the securities probe in New York. The media seems awfully credulous in this regard on White House spin.

Rattner says he wants to spend more time with his family. I’d bet that means the probe took a turn for the worse in recent days. We’ll see soon enough, but something had to happen to prompt Rattner to quit so suddenly in the middle of Obama’s campaign to remake the auto industry.

Bloom will step into Rattner’s shoes, but Bloom has even less relevant experience than Rattner. Not only has Bloom never apparently worked in the auto industry — he was an official in the steelworkers union before this — but he doesn’t have Rattner’s breadth of experience on Wall Street, either, although he did work as an investment banker for ten years. What qualifications does Bloom have to remake the auto industry? He was a union negotiator … and that’s about it.

Obama cabinet qualifications:

Crook
Doesn't pay taxes
Crazy socialist ideas
Doesn't release any documents
One world order
Global warming freak
Racist

Yep, Obama does know how to pick them

This is like a whole seperate geverment with all these Czars. Do any of them asnwer to congress? Who is the cazar of czars then....BO? :eek:

Most of them do not answer to congress, and that is what worries me the most. I can't believe that even congress is not fighting the cazar's, they all hate not having power.

See ya in hell johnny treehugger

I can see it now, people going to prison for refining and distilling their own fuel. Think I'll drill me a hole in the ground. They will never,ever tell me what I can and cant do. This is tyranny in the making. A goverment which de-industrializes and controlls it's population with Mr. Greenie's vision here will only set us on a collision course with an uprising which will tear us to pieces. Apparently the Messiah's vision is a little cloudy. IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!

The clock is ticking and we need a plan.

This guy and Carol Browner should not be anywhere near the reigns of power. The fact that they are czars that do not have to answer to congress or the people is that much more troubling.

At some point all of this mess must be undone. Pity the man who's shoulders it falls on.

More psycho science czar quotes:

"President Obama's Science Czar, John Holdren, took a controversial and amoral approach to the science of population by recommending mass compulsory sterilization and even forced abortion (and/or forced marriages) under certain circumstances. His 1977 tome, Ecoscience, which he co-authored with Paul and Anne Ehrlich, also displays a revealing disregard for the institution of the traditional human family.

Holdren and Ehrlichs write:

Radical changes in family structure and relationships are inevitable, whether population control is instituted or not. Inaction, attended by a steady deterioration in living conditions for the poor majority, will bring changes everywhere that no one could consider beneficial. Thus, it is beside the point to object to population-control measures simply on the grounds that they might change the social structure or family relationships.

Holdren, with a blithe “of course,” encourages government to wage an effective war on the family in America. It begins with the abolition of “pronatalist” policies and continues with their complete reversal:

As United States taxpayers know, income tax laws have long implicitly encouraged marriage and childbearing...Such a pronatalist bias of course is no longer appropriate. In countries that are affluent enough for the majority of citizens to pay taxes, tax laws could be adjusted to favor (instead of penalize) single people, working wives, and small families. Other tax measures might also include high marriage fees, taxes on luxury baby goods and toys, and removal of family allowances where they exist. Other possibilities include the limitation of maternal or educational benefits to two children per family. "

"Forced abortions. Mass sterilization. A “Planetary Regime” with the power of life and death over American citizens.

The tyrannical fantasies of a madman? Or merely the opinions of the person now in control of science policy in the United States? Or both?

These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology — informally known as the United States’ Science Czar. In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:

* Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;

* The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food;

* Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;

* People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.

* A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.

Impossible, you say? That must be an exaggeration or a hoax. No one in their right mind would say such things.

Well, I hate to break the news to you, but it is no hoax, no exaggeration. John Holdren really did say those things, and this report contains the proof. Below you will find photographs, scans, and transcriptions of pages in the book Ecoscience, co-authored in 1977 by John Holdren and his close colleagues Paul Ehrlich and Anne Ehrlich. The scans and photos are provided to supply conclusive evidence that the words attributed to Holdren are unaltered and accurately transcribed..."

Blue when I read that it sounded way to far out there to be real, When you look @ some of the Bill's that are trying to be passed right now I believe this wacked out crap is the real direction the government wants to go.

Yeah I would tend to blow off ridiculous stuff too because we just have too much common sense and can't understand how some people think.

Glenn's been exposing how Alinsky and that couple from the '60s and others, like those involved in ACORN, have written in their books about this stuff with the intent of literally tearing down America so they can have infrastructure in place to run their agendas. That's words from their own books/mouths. When I have time, I'll try to find the quotes from their books.

I'll post again this quote from 1737:

"Let us consider, my lords, that arbitrary power has seldom or never been introduced into any country at once. It must be introduced by slow degrees, and as it were step by step, lest the people should see its approach. The barriers and fences of the people's liberty must be plucked up one by one, and some plausible pretences must be found for removing or hoodwinking, one after another, those sentries who are posted by the constitution of a free country, for warning the people of their danger. When these preparatory steps are once made, the people may then, indeed, with regret, see slavery and arbitrary power making long strides over their land; but it will be too late to think of preventing or avoiding the impending ruin."

Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl of Chesterfield, to the House of Lords in 1737

This is rich (and typical).

Lancaster, PA, March 31, 2008 Candidate Obama

"The biggest problems we're facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the Executive Branch and not go through Congress at all."

The newest czar. I heard this info on the news the other day and them my friend sent this email and what she said is what I heard on the news. This guy is said to be an "easy shoe in." This man believes that a smart border collie is worth more than a retarded child (listen to clip below).

====

I am urging you all to take a moment to call your senators today and tell them not to confirm this nominee for Regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein. He has been confirmed in the house already while we were all watching the health care debate.

Cass Sunstein is a "good friend" of the President. His wife is already in the administration. He has given speeches and written on his ideas that the elderly have less value than the young (go find an iceberg to jump on if your over 50). Pets, livestock and wildlife should have the same rights in a court of law as we do and have lawyers to represent them and decipher what they would say if they could talk.

He has touted FDR's 2nd Bill Of Rights that says for one thing it's every person's right to own a home (here we go again with Fannie Mae and sub prime loans). He's written a book called NUDGE where he advocates for not changing laws outright (that would get noticed) but tweaking them in small ways to control the people in small increments because they are too stupid to know what's good for them (eat less beef and ban hunting)

Worst is that he is a disciple of Peter Singer who has stated that it should be legal to "abort" a child up to 2 yrs AFTER it's born because until it's old enough to have a sense of tomorrow it's not a human being !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Singer also thinks we seniors should die to leave resources for others. I wonder if he'll be the first to volunteer that and lead the way?

These czars have the power to change this counrty in fundamental ways and we already have several in place to do a lot of damage (Holdren and Groves). Major regulations pass through the regulatory czar like EPA,OSHA and Energy. Do you see the writing on the wall?

If you don't have your congressmen's numbers handy plase go to your phone book and look in the Govt. pages to find them and CALL TODAY ! Please pass this on. It's going to take a lot of calls. Don't believe that they don't listen to us. We are what is changing the health care debate. The New York Times actually wrote a fair story on last night's speech by Obama. Blue Dog democtrats are concerned about re-election. We only have power if we exercise it.
