I would just like to say thanks to my Grandfather and great Uncles who didn't make it home from Normandy in WW II..and all of our brothers and sisters who fight daily to keep the radical Muslim SOBs at bay

yes folks even if the LIbs are drenched in denial about the soo called bad guys ..apparently good folks with real lives ..real family and real babies ..volunteer themselves into harms way so that we may ......golf.....play baseball...football ..go to a movie and take a hot chick out on a date ..in safety

I often hear this song by Tim McGraw and have to wipe away tears every time ..the video that I found is just as impressive :rose::rose:

Thanks to my Grandpa, Staff Seargeant Joseph C Isaac (WWII)
My Great Uncle, Seargeant Rick J. Waldhouse (WWII)
My Uncle, Staff Seargeant Ronald M. Wright (Desert Storm)
and my Great Uncle, Lieutenant Jesse P. Wright (WWII)

May they rest in Piece and forgive our nation for denying them what they gave their lives for. They are in all our hearts. Their friends, family, and loved ones will always remember them and miss them dearly. Lost but never forgotten!:brokenheart::rose::rose::rose::rose:

Yes, same to my grandfathers and great uncles of the ATG's. Never forgotten by family even though the state and country may do so.
My dad who served in the Vietnam era, made it home but no respect shown by the government, forgotten services.

This weekend is about remembering those who fought with their blood, sweat, and tears to build a nation that once was.. Has everyone forgotten who we are and what we've done to become the supreme power in this world?? Our current government sure as he!! has.. the least we can all do is bow our heads and put our lost loved one in our hearts, and give them a moment of silence.. If you listen closely you can still hear their battle cries, the clashing of bayonettes, and the ring of high powered rifles as they pushed forth into the abysmal territory of those who dared to defy us! I feel that the population of this great nation have forgotten the sacrifices that millions made to ensure our safety, and our freedom. It breaks my heart to look at the way things have become and wonder to myself, was it all for nothing??? How can one man defy all that is human and set aside the sacrifices and lives that were given to the earth in order to allow him to make the ignorant decisions that are made today?? It makes me sick, and even though I can't see them, I know my fallen family members are turning over in their graves because they can't bare to watch whats going to happen next...

Stow the flag away, until another May...
Symbol of a debt, we never can repay...

Don't know where I heard it, but, I always remember it on Memorial Day.
