Hello all. My name is Quinton and I wanted to remind everyone that I am still punching running boards. Maybe we've met or rode together or, you've seen me at the Denver Snow Show showing my sled with the running boards punched.

Either way, if you are riding a little older sled (like many of us:rolleyes:) and snow build-up is an issue, contact me.

There is no cutting out of the running board area, just a simple punch to create the hole to allow snow to pass through and then I roll the edge to introduce strength and stiffness to the running board. Best of all, I DO THE WORK.

There are some variable, as always, and this is not possible to do on every sled due to different running board configurations. A quick conversation will determine if it's do-able.

It's the off-season and a great time to get 'er done! If you need a reference you can contact members:

Wiley Coyote
Ski-Laxn
Dyna
Hammertime
bjcambe25

to name a few.

** $110.00 per sled ** this off-season

Have a great summer guys and gals!! (Is it over yet??
Thank you,

Quinton

I can (and have) punched clients running boards with the "flare" upward. Yes it does gain some grip on some running board configurations BUTIt does allow snow to start bridging. Once its starts to bridge, it's not long and the running board is covered in snow and ice again.

However, I will flare either up or down..........whatever the client prefers.

Alternating flare every other hole is another option.

Thank you.

qwerx are stand-up peeps, great service

BRILLIANT!! how soon can you outfit my fleet of sleds?

and, i'll be expecting a snowest member discount, due to the recession in all.

do you also port chaincases? if so, sign me up!

I rode George's (Wiley Coyote) king for a few days and they worked great. Simple, effective and no chopping. Do add strength due to the flanged edge as well. Traction was fine and they remove surface area for snow to stick to. The aluminum insert units have more surface area for snow to stick to and builds up faster than this system. Would save a few pounds over the inserts too. And Qunitons just a helluva fella :)

Awwww schucks Bushy!!! Thanks dude. Didn't realize you got to enjoy the running boards on Wiley's King.

Thanks for the plugger!!

BTW................For anyone and all interested..................typically I do this process in my garage which means the sled has to be brought to me. Please PM me if interested as I am willing to discuss options as to where to work on the sled. Granted, if I need to travel far, a bit more $$ for gas may be in order BUT, it is all negotiable.

I went down to Longmont a couple yrs ago and got this done on my old MC 800. Quality work!!! BTW, that sled started on fire last season lol

Thank you to all who have contacted me about this process. I look forward to completing your sleds! You'll love it next season and wonder why you waited so long.

I feel like punchin' somebody..................'er.......uh hum..............somebodies running boards that is.

Everyone running new sleds and don't need this?? Really??!?!??

Everyone running snow eliminators already?? Really??!?!??

Come on now........think of giving your sled some lovin'!!

It is July...........snow will be flyin' before you know it! :D

Denver Snow Show.....

Wanted to let everyone know that I will be @ the Denver Snow Show showing a sled that has the running boards punched.

Come see me at the BRAAP WRAPS booth across from Felkers.

Also, I will be punching running boards AT THE SHOW!! Give me a call or email and schedule your time.

This is really a great addition to any older sled that has solid running boards. Eliminate that snow and stay in control!

Thanks again.

Have you done any Summit Rev's? If so, do you have a pic you could post of one? Also, where are you located? I was considering Betterboards, but this looks like an option.

P-Patrol and Tdizzle.............you make'a me laugh!!:D

But just so everyone is clear..........I make no bones on this............this is a performance modification and there is no warranty. If you must ask why........

Due to the fact that every rider rides different, weighs different, will make silly decisions at silly times and who knows what is going to happen to the sled or rider...........yet alone the running boards.

Yes Dizz...........I do warrant they will carry less snow therefore giving better footing, control and foot=traction!!:D

In my experience so far, this work best on older M=series based models due to the running board config and size. I've done RMK's, ZX chassis Ski-doo's & Mountain Cats (1M's) up to this point. I need to look at each sled with the owner and decide if it is a quality, do-able upgrade to the machine. It is truly a sled by sled decision on some brands.

New Dragons.............NO GO. New M's................NO GO. New XP's............NO GO. Sled 2-3 years and older are the ones who will benefit from this running board modification.

There are restrictions due to running board size and cooler configuration BUT, so many sleds can and will benefit from this addition.

Thank you for your questions and please PM me or call for more detail or scheduling.
