This is dialed in sled with everything for the serious mountain rider. This sled was one of Jack Struther's personal rides last year. I purchased it from him directly. It has appoximately 1700 miles on the chassis. The top end will be brand new with the Polaris Warranty fix (pistons and whatever else they replace when they come out with it later this year).

I was very happy with this sled and I was going to put a Boondocker Pump Gas Turbo on this sled. However, I found a 2009 Pump Gas D8 that I am buying instead. I am swapping out the shocks (Fox Zero Pros on the 2008), track (Camoplast Challenger Extreme 2.5" on the 2008), spindles (Holz Spindles on my 2008), and skis (SLP Powder Pros on the 2008).

I meant to say that the price is $8495 OBO. Also, the side and intake vents (on the side of the instrument panel and above it are Fire n Ice not R&M products. They make nice vents. This sled flows a lot of air to the airbox through all of the extra venting and the clutches run very cool with the side vents and Carl's vents in the front and back of the engine (both sides). Belt life has been extraordinary because of the venting and gearing change.

If the fix from Polaris includes new cylinders, is Jack going to re-port the replacement cylinders?

That is the plan although I don't think that a new monoblock is going to be part of the "fix" but who knows right now? Are you interested in the sled? I should have added that I just replaced the Hi-Fax. I replaced them at the same time that I put the idler wheels on. The sled runs very strong.

The sled is at Carl's in my trailer. I will try to get some photos of it soon. It has the red 08 Dragon hood. The vented side panels do not have any logos on them. Other than that, it looks like a standard 08 Dragon with the aforementioned bags and gas rack and the black TCP bumper. Nothing unusual under the hood to see other than the SLP airbox mod and SLP exhaust system which is ceramic coated like all of them are these days. Most of the the really good stuff is inside the motor. The 09 track and other 09 components that I am putting on it have 430 miles on them. The sled has never been wrecked or crashed. the bumper installation was done by Carl's and it does not have the hole underneath. It looks totally stock except it has the bumper that can take on trees!
