This guy spends money like it's free or something

Sooooooo, BO, you want to save the World with my money (the half of us who have to pay taxes anyway). Then make sure to protect all your cronies like Jeff Immelt at GE from having to pay anything when Cap and Tax goes into effect and you "necessarily skyrocket" all of our energy costs. So protect all the rich dudes you are buddies with, but make the rest of us the benefactors to the rest of the Country as well as the World.

I was pissed at Bush for doing this crap (sending my money to save the World)!

They all do, the unholy aliance between the pharmacutical giants and the FDA is enough to destroy any factual understanding of proper health. The big pharma companies make billions selling crap that not only does not perform as you expect but is actually hazardous to your health. But try and use a natural cure that has proven success for years and they will put you in jail. When dealing with the Government it is always about the money. Swampy:mad::eek:

Vaccines are very cheap these days, especially the development, distribution, administering, public notices, and the needles.... :rolleyes:

It is not like it is an aspirin....I think 5 bucks is cheap once you put in the perspective.

Yes Drugs are a big ripoff in many ways, and overpriced, but is that what this thread is about?

According to ABC, half the 1.5 billion is to provide aid to other countries in the form of free vaccines, gown, masks and "other stuff".
The other half is to increase existing stockpiles of vaccine, gown, masks and such within our own country. They said how much we have in the stockpile but I don't remember what it is.

The vaccine itself only costs approx. 1 dollar to mass produce per dose.
