I have Several Polaris Motors.

1-2002 Edge X 600 motor. 2800 miles. $900 for just motor $1300 With Clutch, carbs, CDI, Coil, Stock Reeds

1-2003 Edge X 700 Motor. 3000 miles. $900 for just the motor $1300 with Clutch, carbs, CDI, Coil, Stock reeds

1-2003 Pro X 800 Motor. Just gone through from bottom up (preventative maint.), 400 miles, Billet head ect. $1250 just motor. $1700 with Clutch, carbs, CDI, Coil, V-force 3 reeds

Tell me more about your 800 motor.
What head/domes?

What kind of "preventative maintenence"?

Does $1250 include recoil, oil injection and water pump assembly?

Ryan sent me some money to buy a crank off ebay.

I still have to pay my own shipping, buy and ship new pistons, have the cyls and domes cleaned up and pay labor for all of this extra disassembly and reassembly of the engine.

Ryan did offer to split the cost of some exhaust valves from a salvage yard. I declined and got brand new ones for the same price.

I will have spent $700 more on this engine to make it what Trader01 (Ryan Yarrow) advertised and sold to me.
We'll finally have it read to run in about 3 or 4 weeks.
 
Hmmmm funny, got a PM last night about someone who bought a primary off him early in the summer before I bought this engine.

He said the primary clutch is toasted, warped and worn out. Garbage.
Yarrow has done nothing about it.

Sheesh.
Lends more credit to the idea that he's pulling stuff out of the salvage yard and pawning it off on the sled forums.
 
After adding total shop labor, parts and shipping, it cost $1,700 to make this engine back to advertised condition. Ryan sent me $450 to cover it.

Best of luck on your future sales, Ryan Yarrow. I hope you and "Jamie Finn" are not on SW anymore.

hey just wondering if you still have the 800 motor ?? I would like to buy it if you have it still, and if not do you know someone that does have an 800 02-04?
