2nd annual Hawk Off Hill Climb

The 2nd annual Hawk-Off will take place this Sat. April 11 at Beaver Mountain Ski resort in Northern Utah.

Anyone is welcome to show up and climb. I think its $20 to enter and pays back top 3 places.

This is part of the Beaver Mountain hill climb which is put on by the Zollinger family, A real class act.

How many racing

Talked to your brother last week and he said he is racing, wondered how many of you are signing up, really would like to make it down, going to have to see what the weekend plans are.

I am planning on being there. Hoping like crazy and working like mad to have the 950 together. Pipes are being fitted right now. Sad to say though that I may have to sell her after I am done riding it, anyone interested? 950 Big Bore, completely rebuilt (boought it blown) 150x2.5 3.0 pitch track, 7 tooth anti ratchet drivers, Xtreme machine rail extensions, Simmons Gen II ski, Twin pipes, 9" Beautiful Billet Big wheels and adjustable rear off set axle, I am sure that I am missing something. Thanks Tony, I did mean that I might not be able to keep the hawk, I have to keep the wife, Theres no one out there that will put up with me the way she does. LOL

Come and join the fun saturday, and watch the HAWKS tear it up!! I think that there will be a few bikes conversions there as well. I know that I will have my explorer kit there also, I think a buddy of mine wants to race it.

Hillclimb results

Defending Champion Justin Sampson was in prime form as he backed up last years win with another win this year. Congratulations!

1st place Justin Sampson
2nd place Mike Hansen
3rd place Harley Sampson
4th place Shae Bettencourt
5th place Joel Dever

Not sure how the rest of the field placed out. Someone else might be able to chime in with the rest of the results.
