is this something that works with the rkt upgrade as well?
How effective are the friction shims on the primary spring? I am running them in mine but wonder how well they actually work. Obviously the thrust needle bearing is ideal but I don't think anyone offers one for a primary clutch.
Nice, clean job on the spring cup! Where do you get the friction bushing? would a Nylon washer work? I opened up my spring cup but would like to put something in there to cut back on the friction.
www.hiperf.com sells a shim kit called Glide Washers. It was about $15 and you got 2 shims that had some low friction coating and were made of steel and 3-4 zinc plated shims to fine tune your spring.

I get mine from comet and then have them turned down to 2.06" OD. They are thick like in the .060 range.
If you need a thick shift assist to take up room in the close ended helix here is the part numbers for a auto shop shift assist. You can get the washers in different thicknesses. This seems to let you run the goodwin performance Doo RER springs in the close ended helix.
Roller cage AXK4565-HLA and thick washers for the roller cage is LS4565 Any auto shop store should be able to get them. INA bearings Walzlager. Washers come in different thicknesses and these are cheap but well made.
I am not sure about a nylon bushing. You would then have three different materials in there. We all know how well the hard back one in the secondary worked.
