That radiator looks very vulnerable. I think it is in a terrible location. Does the oil injection reservoir attach to the belt cover? I'd like to ride one to see how the well the rear skid rides. Seeing the different angles of the rear linkage made me wonder if it will require more frequent servicing of the bushings than a normal skid? Seems like side loads during hard cornering would introduce quite a bit of stress to the system.

Wow thanks so much for the pics. I kept trying to get a glimpse of it while I was watching the Xgames. Nice to see it up close and detailed.

Don't know how great of an idea it is to have the oil reservoir mounted to the belt gaurd. Great pix though.

Will never be a good mountain skid, would be like having two anchors in the snow when in the deep tough snow or trenching up a hill.

Overall I like the looks of the sled.
Simple and clean.
That being said, I question the side panels. I bet you break those hinge points pretty easy.
I don't think the oil res. is that big of a deal. How many people actually shred a belt hard enough to take out the belt guard and still have enough force to take out the res..

A watercraft 1200. Takes out the foot pocket too...............you asked.... LOL

I just can't see this in a mountain form......still cool though

Awesome pics. I really like the looks of it.

But the radiator right there looks bad and i've seen too many belt guards destroyed to put a oil bottle on top of it

Rush

I really like the lines of the hood. It's not stubby looking like the competition. I think the bumper is far enough forward to knock down about anything that may hit the radiator other than a big ball of ice or snow that is lower than the bumper and narrower than the skis.
I think duabilty on the rear bushings will be better than the current stuff because they are up out of the snow better.
Looks to me like the running boards may drag if you lay it over very far or side hill.
Being a coil over, I wonder if it saves some weight too like the Holz suspension. To go longer track, all you would need is rails or extensions and a longer rear bumper/tunnel extension. I am not so sure it will hang up side hilling, those bars may cut through the snow just like drop brackets do.

Did you guys notice the new driven. New Polaris design for PERC. Notice the holes in the housing. I hear it is as fast and cool running as a button. I guess a field tech came up with the idea and the Polaris engineers refined it. I hear they are quickly developing helixs for it. If it works, they may sell a bunch for upgrades.

I don't like the oil reservoir on the clutch guard either. Those are excellent pics. YOu can really put the sled in perspective with someone on it.

I'm really liking this sled but i don't want to go down to a 600.

I had a belt blow out the belly pan once then 500 miles later blew my aluminum belt gaurd clear off my 900 with slp belt gaurd

Oil res. with my luck would last the first big belt blow :D

Looking at the front plastics and hood in particular, I now know what a sled would look like if an old wedge chassis had sex with an XP

From what I understand it is not a radiator, just a heat exchanger in the front. I am sure somebody will come up with a sturdy grill for it. It looks like a fun ride. Probably will never make it as a mountain sled however.

This is also the info that I have, I have looked at one photo that shows the solid heat exchanger but I am unable to track it down again. I really think this thing looks good and as for the side panels getting ripped off I think some of you are running into a few too many trees or something how do you think they would rip off with normal riding? Just wondering.
