Apex rear clean up

My friend ran over the rear of my Apex after i had talked about removing the bulky rear plastic ho ha they come stock with. That speeded up my removal of the extra weight. Here is the result. I took all the extra plastic off, removed tail light, took off rear screen/cover under seat, cut a hole in screen where light wires would need to come through, used a dremel tool to notch out veritcal plastic colums to match back of tail light, made the holes in the screen big enough to fit stock screws through, coated wires with some heat protective tape, polished the tunnel and reinstalled. I also bent the tabs on the screen/cover over when i had it off to help ensure they dont come out with the added stress of the tail light being mounted on it. Some before and after pics are here for your viewing pleasure.

I had a similar thing happen except there was nothing left of the tail light so I converted it to the short track style taillight....they look better without the rack don't they?
