Got the boards done that utilize stock mounting holes

I made a set for my sled and thought i'd offer them up here. I have a post in the race section but here it is again:

Ok guys,

I'm going to be selling these for $150 shipped to the lower 48 powder coated black. If you want raw aluminum that is OK; but there may be small lines on the bend marks.

Please note that the standard boards are for a mountain sled; meaning there is not a provision for the stock rear suspension mount. I will make a version for the stock skid but PLEASE note that on when you order.

For the first run I am planning on making 10 sets. I will ship them next Friday at the latest; although I am going to shoot for Wednesday depending on the powder coaters lead time. If I have more than 10 orders by this Friday (the 5th) I can make more but I need payment by then.

Maby you should post threads like this under the "Swap meet" category, where it belongs, and stop bumping the thread?

Look newbie, there have been IQR owners wanting something like this, do a search there has been more than one post about traction boards for this chassis. He is letting those owners know he has filled a niche, I don't look under swap for new products everyday, when something new comes out...Like a bumper for the dragon... I expect and appreciate that people post it here in the polaris section where people were biiatching about the cheesy stock bumper.

Did you tell those guys to post in swap??? But thanks for the bump anyways

I partly agree with you but this is clearly advertisment and if you try to find info on a forum you can do a search. Why categorize a forum? - so that you don´t have to scroll through tons of post not relating to what you are looking for.

What if everyone started posting things they try to sell in all the forums and kept on bumping them. It would become a race to bump your own thread to the top and the forum would be flooded with bull**** posts. There´s a reason why almost every forum on the net has rules against bumping.

meathooker already posted about this in a specific thread for the IQr/rr runningboard and I appreciated it because in that thread he gave us ideas and showed how he had done it. But that thread doesn´t get bumped. This one gets bumped for one reason and one reason only - $$$

And yeah I know - I´m bumping this again

Thanks for the bump!

I apologize if this offended anyone. When I posted my original picture quite a few guys were excited to see a solution for our IQr's. I had no intention of selling them but I had so many people ask for them I decided to help them out. I'd be lying if I said I didn't make any $$ on them but I am also giving guys a what I think is a good deal. They are powder coated and shipped for $50 less than comparable products are plus you have to pay for shipping. Also I didn't see you critique the front bumper posts as Jet so kindly mentioned.

Gotta love newbies!

I haven´t read every thread in this forum and I´m not here to critique. It wasn´t any personal against you I just wrote down my thoughts on advertisment and bumping. If you feel the need to discuss this further you can send me a PM.

And by the way - Those newbie comments are just rediculous and offensive!

well then stop being a newbie, whiner I mean wenna lol. The swapmeet is for selling used sleds and sled parts, I don't think anybody else has a problem with posting a good idea for sale from a known contributing member here in the polaris section where people are more likely to see it.

Meat, I think that you have a great idea there and if I didn't already make ladder style boards for my iqr I would gladly pay what you are asking, people have been screaming for those boards of yours, I'm surprised you have to bump this thread
