Went up to the hills yesterday to burn the cobwebs out and here was some of our day:D

Not a whole lot of snow yet, but just enough to get the machines warmed up for the year... made a little over 15 miles, not much, but it's a start anyway:D

almost a foot at 7K'

tracked up the meadow below the hillclimb for a while, not near enough snow on it yet...

Did a bit of small jumping too

Then decided to make a run across the lake b4 calling it a day (I know, not much of a lake, more of a pond, but they call it a lake:confused:):D

8 inches of snow and you're already in the trees..... I like the sticks stuck on the hood on the 1000

Stripe put that there on purpose actually just for a laugh:face-icon-small-sho:D

Ya, hitting rocks here and there and the creek crossings were a little tricky, but it was a kick for a first ride in such little snow. 2 weeks earlier than last year's first ride too:D:D

any chance that's still going to be around Friday?? Heading to Yakima for Thanksgiving and thinking about burning up the old gas if the summer weather does burn "all" of that snow off this week.

Can you get to these areas from the White Pass side or do you have to get it from -through Yakima?

I think the only way that that little bit of snow would stick around would be if we got more snow during the week, I'm not holding my breath, but then again, I wasn't thinking I was gonna be riding yesterday either. That was up on Pinegrass Ridge behind Rimrock lake off of White pass about 10 miles east of the ski lodge for round figures. We were hitting lots of rocks the whole day and really couldn't get too crazy, more or less just to break the snow fever, but it was alright, still lots of hunters driving around the roads all the way to the top:eek::(

Thanks fordguy, must have been section 3 lake. I better pray for more snow.

Oh, ya it was, forgot to mention it after pinegrass:o

Ya, we need more for sure, absolutely no base at all, riding on soft all the way, but still riding:D

yeah totally it doesn't look good at all.. (insert emo tear) its probably never going to snow again.. for surely not in the next few days if ever again in the whole world booohooo.. grab your tissue boxes and join team pessimism, for the snow will never ever touch ground again in the next few days for surely.. man, what will some of you do with your lives if it doesn't snow again in the next few days? can you wait just a couple more weeks? man, thats gotta be tough being as "hardcore" as some of you's are. holy cow, i can't imagine what anyone did last yr when the snow didn't start flying hard till december and didn't stop till april.. man that was rough too.. whoooeeeeeees me what will we do?
