$28 Mod - Has anyone installed on IQ 800

Has anyone installed this mod on their 2009 800 dragon? My goal cooler temps and avoiding the cold water temp hit to the cylinders & No hot spots.


I have installed this mod on our 2011 800 RMK Assault (we also installed an additional rear cooler). IT was 50 degrees yesterday and it maintained 107-113 temps all day.

Thermostat mod installed on 09 800 Dragon

Ok, So I installed the "Pro" $28 Thermostat mod in my 09 800 dragon.

It's a tight fit and I only really found one spot for the thermostat housing.

42922 - (1) Power Grip Clamp (For cap)
42925 - (1) Power Grip Clamp (for ¾ ID Hose)
42934 - (2) Power Grip Hose (for 1” ID Hose)

7080844 - Polaris (3) clamps (for 1” ID hose)

QQPP3XNPK1 - Zurn - Pex Test plug 1/2" (Ace HW)

Gut the Original Thermostat with dremel tool, so you can use with the original rubber seal.
