I got nothin but red...And only have half a dozen posts...Sometimes folks get a little sensative or worked up over a little jabbin and jestin. Understandable I guess. Oh well, here's some green for all of you.

Thanks Lake..little embarassin be so red...ha They let me give out about 10 green's then said more later... thanks again. Got off on wrong foot early, need to think before type...not get sucked into little spats..old enuff to know better..

here's a couple things to remember.
1. when sending rep, the reps only counts when you have at least 100 posts
or you're in the green already when repping.
2. If you're under 100 post or you are in the red, your rep comes across
as neutral... it doesn't add or subtract from rep points. they show up as a
gray/blue dot in your user cp.

When you read someone's post, look in the upper right hand corner of it, above their location and you'll see a white colored scale thingy (Sorry for the tech jargon) click on it and you'll get a drop down box that reads "Agree or Disagree" then there is a text box to write a note.
Be sure to sign it also so they know who gave it to them.
It was designed to warn people of risky guys to do deals with in the swap meet section.
Now we just use it for fun

Thats good to know, I give out good rep when I read a post I like. Turns out I don't have 100 posts so it don't matter lol.
Im curious to know if anyone really pays attention to the rep. I mean for example if someone has all red dots, would you not buy something they are selling in swapmeet?? Or if they posted an opinion would you dismiss it right away cuz they are red??

thanks for all the replies! I guess I go through life looking to leave a good impression on the majority. Seeing red makes ya want to correct it if you wronged someone. I love this forum and it is all I look at anymore. I used to post alot on totallyamaha, but 99.9% of you on here are down to earth good people! Heres to the green.
