I really butchered a set of rails last year and was wondering if anyone is using rail stiffeners or have any opinions on them - pros and cons.
Thanks!!

The Polaris Factory uses Rail Stiffners on ALL of the Assaults in production.

Your other option is to have Ice Age build a pair of rails that is a bit more heavy duty for you.

I don't know if displaced is the right term but, If you have two weak areas and the weakest of the two is fix the next weakest area will fail if it's capacity is exceeded. With out fixing the weakest area first you may never have been able to exceed the capacity of the second weakest area if the first failure absorbed the extra load that would have caused the second area to fail.

The failure wasn't displaced to a new area but the critical load was able to be acheived in the second location do to fixing the weakest area.

Basically, there's always something else in line to break if enough force is applied. Question is what would be next in line and would it be better to replace the rails or the next weakest area?
