hey im just wondering if you can use team gears with oem chain cause i need a 42 tooth and i cant find on for the life of me except for team 42 gears

im riding fusion 6 and i can get one from my dealer but its 74 dollars i was wondering if i could find on somewhere cheaper polaris oem part #2900015

so even tho it says "team gears must be used with team chains" on the dennis kirk website i could run a 42t team with a polaris chain? i really cant see an ssue but i lost a cahincase last winter cause whover owned me sled before me ran the wrong chain on the wrong set of gears
