Just found a guy selling aluminum sheets with fiberglass with adhesive backing. Rated for 1700F

Has anyone used this material or just stuck with aluminum tape?

I have tried everything on the market for my race cars and finally got hooked up with the mfg that supplies all the Nascar, IRL, ALMS, etc teams. Never had an issues with his stuff. They have many different heat ratings available but I went with the gold rated at 700 for my sled. However, ther is also silver which is rated up to 1200. It is easy to apply and never peels off or burns through.

Anyhow, Lance from HMS is a dealer for it for sleds and is looking at providing pre cut pieces for the specific sled models. Just pm HMS for details.
