anyone have expierence with them...

i want to get a set for my wifes 06 700 and want to see which one is the better one..

Looks like the major diff is that the Fire-n-ice one's are solid hiem joints where as the SLP has a cushion in them. I've had good luck with the SLP ones never tried the others.

Where there is snow
Used SLP on my 900, worked fine till the bolt worked its way loose and trashed my clutch. Make sure you use Loctite.

thanks for the repliues guys..

JCB..thats terrible luck with the clutches man..what sthe odds..i will locktite for sure now..

if anyone ha smore inputs i am open to hear..if the fire n ice are stronger i was going to get them for my 900 and install the slp ones on my wifes 700 since it doesnt have as much torque issues..

is the clutch side torque arm fairly easy to install..looks like it could be a pain..or nothing a few beverages of choice couldnt knock out i am sure..HA

With the FNI, if I remember correctly, you shouldn't install both. Just either one of them. Because if you install both it will lock the engine down so well that all of the vibrations go into the handlebars instead of the chassis.

I'd contact FNI directly to see if they have any left, because those are over priced.

I have the SLP and they help, but I do trust anything from Fire 'n Ice with the up most confidence that it is the best.
