Straight shot ??
I was looking through the ads and ran accross yours and had to ask; why would a person pay more than book price for this sled?? It has a custom paint job that actually decreases the value of the sled and yet it's more expensive than a stock sled. Not trying to be a wise *** but just wondering...

GORDO
Average retail is $3190. Sled is in above average condition not including the paint (How exactly does a $400custom paintjob decrease the value of a sled?)

$3190 Average retail
$300 Simmons skis
$150 SLP can
$100 Polaris cover
$85 Holeshot skid plate
$75 new belt
$30 windshield bag
$? meticulous maintenance
$? Easy 1 owner miles (my wifes sled)

$3930 TOTAL

I'll pull all of the accessories and put it back to stock and what would your offer be?

Doesn't seem all that out of line to me.

Easy Straight Shot !!
Most of the people won't like your paint job, not that it's a bad one but it's just not what they like so it decreases the value to them. My experience is that all custom paint jobs decrease the value of a sled or motorcycle mainly due to personal preferences and color likes or dislikes.
I guess the price depends on where you are located; in our area the dealers! are selling sleds for low trade in value ... and our situation is fairly common due to the lack of snow in the past four years.
If you can sell a sled for retail more power to you.
Oh yes enjoy your new Dragons.

My wife loves the paint job on the 550 I bought from you sat. She couldn't believe how well taken care of this snowmobile is. By the way a place in eastern SD is selling the same thing stock for $500 more with more miles.
Thanks again straight-shot

Wow,
Didn't look at the pics before I sent you a pm. I can tell you if I had the money that would be the one for me. Don't listen to what the other folk say about price. I may not no much in sleds but in airplanes those who take care and have good mx will get what they are asking. I would suggest posting them on ksl.com in the classifieds out here in ut, wy, co, id.

Nice sled

Unfortunately GORDO seems to speaking for everyone. I quite frankly like the paint. Sure does not look like all the other sleds on the hill. Clean engine compartment as well. Sorry GORDO, I prefer to speak for myself.
