Have a buddy who wants to put a M Skid under his 2009 Sno-pro race chassis. I have seen a few other people that have made race sleds into mountain sleds but most do a custom tunnel and spend TONs of money to do so at places like fabcraft. Has anybody put a M skid under a new race chassis? or any budget mountain conversions?

I have searched on a lot of fourms before I posted my question and I found the same two sleds over and over again. This is one of the fabcraft sleds I was refering to and maybe the post you were refering to:

(Its a nice sled but 10K-15k later you might as well buy a new M)
Here is the other one I found:

(great budget build but the stock skid is a tank and steep approach angle)

I was looking for more of a budget build that had a M skid, tunnel extension, power claw track, 3.0 drivers, clutching/gearing ..... then ride.
