Does anyone out there know if you can stretch a 06 crossfire sno pro 700 from the stock 136 to a 144 without puting a tunnel extender on?

Crossfire 141 - 144 Track

You won't need a tunnel extion unless you plan on lots of jumping - we did lots of them back in 2006 - 2007. Both 141 and 144. WPS makes a neat extion for the rails - I would prefer you go to a 141 - with lots of 141 - 3" pitch - used tracks that are in great shape out there CHEAP! 144 tracks with 3" pitch are very hard to find used - as you need the 3" pitch because of your Act Drive. GO FOR IT!! Its a great fix.

Crossfire Stretch to 144

Bill, I looked into this when I changed tracks for my out west trip (went to a 1.75 lug 136" track), the pitch on my stock crossfire track is a 2.52 not a 3.0, the M series I believe runs the 3.0 as I have a buddy that owns a local repair shop, does a lot of work on cats and he tried puting a 2.52 pitch on his M1000 and later found out it was a 3.0, the M series he ended up finding out the hard way runs different pitch. I think you answered my question though in that I don't need the tunnel extension.

02 ZR 600 EFI Track

Guys, thanks for your help on my Crossfire extension questions. Been a big help. Here is another one for you, My son and I stretched his stock 02 ZR 600 EFI to a 136" and put on a 1.25" lug track. Wondering if we can go to a 1.75" or 2" lug truck. When I tip the sled on its side it looks like it would be extremely tight installing anything larger than a 1.5" lug track. Looks like anything larger than a 1.5" would start to hit the cooler in the front of the tunnel, I realize I have to notch for my tunnel coolers. My local Arctic Cat repair guy says he has done them but don't know how. Any tips?
