I have a 2003 F7 EFI and i blew the motor on it and i rebuilt it and now when i start it, it will idle pretty high. What did i miss that i can fix myself without paying a mechanic to do it. Any input is helpful.
I had a F6 that was always idling high. I just hit the throttle again an it would calm down. If we were riding and came to a stop it would take a couple of minutes for it to come down. Had a mechanic friend look at it and no matter what he did it would seem fixed until we would ride. Then it would go right back up.
