1M exhaust deflector

Looking for a different exhaust deflector for my 03 900 which still exits in the stock location. Which delector works good? The same one for the 06 KK "1612-906" or the M-series "1612-853"

Mines all bent up from pulling the sled off my truck.

No, I wanna keep it in the same spot. I just looked into it more, looks like 03's were the only ones with the ****ty square deflector "1612-682" and 04 and up had the U shape deflector "1612-713".

I answered the question myself I guess!

With the stock muffler the 03 can be used, With an aftermarket muffler that is not ovaled, I don't know if the 04 and later cupped shaped one will work? I think the '04 and later needs too be a little taller to benefit?

Yah, it doesn't look like it would be tall enough. Has anyone made a better one? I don't want to go to front dump exhaust, as I haven't had a huge problem with boggin and I don't want to put too much money into this sled, as I can see me upgrading when a deal comes around.
