This might be a dumb question but I'm curious. My M8 always starts on two pulls (unless very cold) and I was wondering about a 1M 800 EFI. I figured it should but mine doesn't always. Any thoughts? If it is supposed to what could be wrong?

its a battery-less efi.first pull or two cold creates enough juice for the electric fuel pump to build enough pressure to open the injectors.....
well thats my assumption anyhow????????????

I had a friend of mine with a 04' 900 efi and it did not start good in the cold. My carbed 900 started very good. I always wondered if there was a problem with a fuel check valve, that let the line empty over night and it took longer to get up to pressure. We never did anything outher than cuse it out once in awhile!
