That 4 banger must rip on the top end? At a 198cc ea, I bet those cyl. loved that 100+ octane leaded fuel! Where those 2 into 1 or singles all the way?

I was already quoting Ida's post when I read yours Owen. haha I got to ride one of each a few years ago, on a race track.........did not corner at all like the '78 250cc Super Mod I rode right after. haha Super cool units though, glad I got the chance to ride one, not too many guys born after the production of these get to ride em. Very cool.

I never stopped shakin'.............

Mine was a factory mod. Just over a hundred HP. No recoil, just wind a rope around a pulley. It really scared the natives. The 797 Blizzard was our only competition.

PS. The original was called King Kat the '04 thu '06 called King Cat.

Too bad Kawasaki didn't put those engines in a H2, Call it an H3 and it would really give you something to hang onto! Forget about cornering, The H2's were a bummer at that along with the H1's

whoa, old enough that I remember beating the three cylinder KK on my brothers
borrowed 73.5 Suzuki twin factory chambered 440 fury in a annual local heads up hill climb competition(Alpine Wy) in about 1974.
I was 14, weighed about 100#s in race gear- lightning bolt helmet, jock strap(optional) and my one piece coast to coast sno-suit.
He was a three hundy plus old back of the school bus bully on the KK in cover-alls.
I beat his stop watch time by about 1.5 sec.
From that day till he died (semi-truck/boat accident)he would invite me out to the lake when his modified flat bottom would go on the Palisades lake runs.

My bro still has that old Suzuk..
