I am looking to replace my 9 post clutch over to a newer 6 post fixed pin. Will any 33mm 6 post clutch work? The sled is a 03 900 M1 Is there any clutch alignment issues due to crank pto lengths (ex 900 vs 700-800) or clutch design?
Thanks for info.

most all 33mm clutchs from m7-8 should work just fine. I think you will have to run a different gram weight in the fixed pin. I think they run about 3 grams heaver for a 6 compered to a 9 on average.

M7 m8 clutch on a 900????

I think they are a differnt dia, than a 900 clutch, not sayin it wont work but i think they are different. I had to buy a new clutch last year, and crossed this bridge!!!! I found one at rv sports for a good deal.
