What gearing to run

It's time to replace my stock gears and chain. I want to gear it down but not sure what to run or where to order from even?

I ride 4000-9,000 and like to play in the hills and stay off the trails as much as I can. After I regear it, I will clutch is acordingly.

So what ratio should I run in my old 04 800?

I like the 19/43 Hyvo gears. Straight 49 degree helix and a snopro green spring. Weight the primary accordingly.

I can't remember if the 800's had the same ratio as the 900's 19/43 or were they a higher ratio? I wouldn't go lower than 20/46 if it were me.

If you are buying new stuff now, step up and get the hyvo stuff and save yourself down the road. They last way longer and hold up much better to big power.

I think I'm going to keep it simple and stay with the 19/43 but go hyvo, but i'm considering 19/44 any reason not too?

I'm just about to order it just don't know what link chain?
