Copper Peak Snowmobile Hillcliimb is this Saturday!
While Mother Nature tried to prevent snowmobilers from competing at one of the most extreme Snowmobile Hillclimbs in the Midwest, Father Winter said, 'let it happen!'
The Copper Peak Ski Flying Inc. Board of Directors and the MASTERS Circuit met this morning and decided to run the Hillclimb this Saturday. The event was scheduled to run last Saturday, but warm temps and lack of snow on the hill forced the event to be postponed.
"While the hill does not have the snow that we had a couple weeks ago before the warm weather, we will not lose anymore snow," stated Copper Peak Snowmobile Hillclimb founder, Skip Schulz. Schulz stated that last years Selkey Manufacturing Pro Mod King of the Hill winner, Matt Tingstad was walking on the hill this morning to check on snow conditions.
