Hey Fellas,

I bought a new sled (new for me), 07 Race Chassis w/800 factory mod.

Anyways, I got it out this last weekend to ride and the clutching CANT be close.

I know the last time the guy rode it he was hillcrossing it during the spring time.

All I know is that the damn thing LEAPS when the clutch ingages. (and it then doesnt sometimes)

I have the race manual on order, so why I am waiting I figured I would just ask the masses for ideas.

??????????????????????????

ever happen to you?

Honestly, I grew up racing dirtbikes, but sled tech is still new to me.

Just figured I would jump in head 1st :D

Thanks for any suggestions :beer;:beer;:beer;

Also-- The damn tach on the thing reads all crazy-- sits at 2k when its off and then the digital reads L140 or some crap

try changing the primary spring to a lighter engagment, like say go from 160-340 to 140-340 or go up in the weight it sounds like it engaging at like 5300 rpm t

Post the current clutch set up, sounds like it has either a high engagement spring or notched weights, changing either of these will get rid of the harsh engagement.
