power valves on m8

Hey guys

What would happen if a power valve cable broke or the valves were not opening. How would the sled act. Is ther any way you can test these things. Thanks.

Chris

i would guess around 6500 rpm it would start to cut out, you could unhook the cables from the servo motor and pull. if ones broke it should come out. only takes a couple of minutes to pull the power valves out and check for carbon build up.

I broke one last weekend on the mag side of my 07' M8. Sled would only pull to 7600 and sounded funny like it had water in the gas or something.

This sounds similiar to my problem I have a turbo on the sled but I have virtually eliminated all componets of the turbo. Mine runs fine until 3/4 to full throttle them it kinds of blubbers and won't clean up. I will take a closer look tomrrow. Thanks guys any more tips would be great.

Chris.
