We got this note from a friend and fellow journalist about an important snowmobile ride he is a part of.
Pat Bourgeois explains what the ride is all about. If you think you can help, it is a worthy cause and the ride is put on by a great group of sledders.
It's that time of year again, time to saddle up and ride across Minnesota on snowmobiles in an effort to raise money and awareness for Sarcoma cancer.
As some you may know, a dear friend and fellow snowmobile journalist, Eric Skogman, lost his battle with Sarcoma nearly three years ago, and since that time a group of us have dedicated this ride in his honor. Last year I also rode in memory of my father, who also lost a long and courageous battle to prostate cancer.
Last year as a group we raised more than $7,000, not too bad for a rag tag group of sledheads and this year we hope to break that mark. Any pledge big or small are accepted and its as easy as clicking on the link below and completing your donation online.
