Nestled in the Snowy Mountain Range in Centennial, WY, Snowy Mountain Lodge has long offered a home away from home for travelers during all seasons. The lodge has changed ownership several times since its beginning in the 1930s and has recently re-opened its doors after having been closed for a couple years.
The lodge is the perfect location for winter sport enthusiasts of all types. For the skier, the lodge offers the closest accommodations to the local ski slope. For the snowmobiler, the lodge is located on the border of some of the best trails in Wyoming. For the snowshoer or cross-country skier, the lodge is centrally located around multiple trails, including some groomed. For those who love to just kick back and relax in a winter wonderland, the lodge is the perfect escape to enjoy some hot chocolate and a roaring fire.
Snowy Mountain Lodge currently has six cabins available for rent throughout the winter season. During the summer, small trapper cabins are also available. The large cabins sleep 6-8 people and offer a small kitchen, private bedroom, bathroom loft and a common area with a flat-screen TV and DVD player.
Four of the cabins are built in a duplex style, allowing larger groups to rent both sides and open up the adjoining door. Each cabin is built on the edge of the forest, giving guests their own mountain retreat.
